Also will be trying to integrate MatLAB with the Kinect (weird, I've learned how to start the Kinect with many languages but haven't got to do much coding...gotta specialize) for a school project, right now compiling the SDK to try to get some interaction, and then, lets hope I can make something interesting.
Beyond that I'm very interested in what Ubuntu has to offer on the tablet market, as it seems, they are releasing their OS for the Android phone not to replace it but rather to give users a PC experience when "offline" from the main Android system. I have to wonder if having two Operative Systems is really useful having to contend with memory space and what not, but then again its becoming less of an issue thanks to the cloud computing thingy going on, so it could prove useful. Wanna try it so badly when its released because as of date Ubuntu is my favorite OS, despite some lacking I've found lately.
Oh and the sickness part is that I read an article regarding an increase in the resistance of bacteria to most antibiotics of date, so if something serious and extremely resistant to them appears we're screwed! Right now I have had the flu for almost a week so I can testify of their depowering effects on us. I believe we must start making research not on how to kill them better but rather on how to make ourselves more resistant to their effects because diseases keep evolving whereas we're staying the same mostly, placidly content with our powerful medicines but doing little about our fragile bodies which as a result start becoming more, or at least I think that due to the fact that people from other generations seem way more resistant and stronger than us (mu grandfather can push further than I can for example, such a shame).
Lets hope we can last until something can be done.
