Making a new KiCAD project.
The first thing we'll learn here is how to make a circuit using KiCAD using the graphic mode. This will be very familiar to those that make use of software like Proteus and MultiSIM. This will then be exported to ngspice to simulate and plot several aspects of interest.
In order to start the application open the Terminal and type the following command: $ kicad & |
The application name will call the process while the "&" generates a child process that will prevent the terminal being blocked, that is, we won't have to leave it open to work.

On this one we have several different applications we can execute to work several aspects of our electronic design. We shall select the menu File and then select New Project. It will ask for a file path and we'll give it one which is the place the project and all components will be located. A new project will appear on the left side of the main window.
