Starting with OpenCog
OpenCog makes use of atoms to store and process information for their agents. These are entities that derive meaning through the links they establish with other atoms in the hypergraph space.
Each atom is quantified through the use of truth values, with one representing probability (strength) and another representing weight of evidence.

As shown in the tutorial, we first make sure OpenCog is correctly installed and operational by exporting the python PATH with the command:
$ export PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/usr/local/share/opencog/python
$ export PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/usr/local/share/opencog/python
Afterwards initializing python we should be able to import the opencog libraries and dependencies without problem.
For example in python type:
$ help('opencog')
NOTE: OpenCog currently is coded in Python2.7 so code made for 3.5 won't run. I'm thinking of porting the packages but need to find the time first.

Using OpenCog with Python
To note that as of date (2017-10-01) there's no implementation of OpenCog in Python 3+ so we're stuck with the 2.7 version until one is developed. So far the project is making progress and its good and functional compared to last year.
