kiCAD - Creating new components
As electronics is a continuously evolving field it's common that new components will keep appearing, sometimes exotic enough that they never make it to the simulation software. For those cases its necessary to be able to create new components according to our specifications.
Here I'll show how to do so in both the easy and hard way.

The easy way
Advantage: Easy to use web interface that automatically generates the device according to specifications.
Disadvantage: Only works for IC and the page may disappear.
HOW TO:
Just open the page:
http://kicad.rohrbacher.net/quicklib.php
Specify inputs and outputs on that friendly graphical user interface and download the generated .lib file.
