I'm inspired because we're getting new teammates on the mechatronic legs project, a rehab project we've been making for quite some time for the Creativity and Technology Contest from COTACYT. I've wanted to participate for quite some time and we managed to finally get to the National Contest last year and will be working in order to get to the International this one.
Will try to get several projects done this year to get a higher chance at it but who knows.
Also a business I'm working on must be established, I'm working alone this time as my only associate has left to get his notes straight. Not that I blame him, I also should be studying rather than actualizing the blog but oh well...:P
I'm still on with my New Year resolutions although they have proved harder to fulfill than expected, well, at least more than being on 8th tetramester is. Still struggling and I'm gonna beat it, someway, somehow.
*SPOILERS AHOY!* Our heroine having sacrificed her life and her very soul to heal the one she loves gets to fight against a representation of despair, and learns that the biggest enemy isn't without but rather within. She finds herself ignored by her lover, betrayed by her friends and tricked into a bargain where she stands in the losing side, all for an apparently selfless wish. Having made the ultimate sacrifice and knowing she's doomed, she keeps on fighting, clinging to a hopeless ideal that has no place in the real world while her heroine facade slowly crumbles to dust... | I wanted to also take the chance to promote one of my favorite anime ever, one I honestly never thought I could enjoy, specially not at the fan level. Its called Puella Magi Madoka Magica, one of Gen Urobuchi's most famous works and where being a magical girl is serious business, heheheh. Yeah when I read the word magical girl I cringed too, but it actually is great! I've always been a big fan of [SPOILERS, READ BELOW AT YOUR CAUTION] dramas (which may not be helping my usually depressive emotional state though...) and this story certainly packs a punch! It has beautiful animation by Shaft, music by the wonderful group Kalafina, one of my favorite Japanese ensembles ever with pop, electronic and classical meshed into one beautiful chorus. Scripwriting by Gen Urobuchi and character by Shinbou. It is a "heartwarming" story that certainly is a must watch. |
My favorite characters on the series where Sayaka Miki for her ideals along with her beautiful outfit which is my favorite due to my love of chivalry (also she had the best theme songs, Conturbatio and Decretum) and Homura Akemi, which has the most awesome power ever and whose loyalty knows no bounds, actually I felt kinda jealous as I wish I could meet someone that loyal in real life. All characters are awesome though and what's more, they are flawed but very good persons deep inside, watching their struggles became an exquisite and painful delight as Gilgamesh from Fate Zero (another awesome Urobuchi's series) would say, heheh...
Also I flunked my first exam this year, Robotics, and by two centesimal points! I'm getting a second chance but I'm set on surpassing myself this year, I've had bigger goals and wanna prove myself and a certain annoying individual it is possible.
Also arrogance has been rubbing me the wrong way lately, must everyone around me be a know it all!?!?
And I'm losing focus but will try to get it back. That is my goal for the next week!
Thanks and see ya!
