Izhikevich Model on Python
One of the first things done was to implement the CPG neuron system using a programming language in a computer. This due to the advantage this provides compared to embedded system in feedback and ease of tests. Also this provides a framework with which to compare the FPGA model and ensure its stability and reliability.

The original Izhikevich neuron model used to test and understand the equations.

Made by my thesis director to create hexadecimal strings. Not used by me but may be useful for someone else getting on this subject.

The Izhikevich neuron was put on a class so that it can be linked to other systems and create things such as neural networks or in the case of this thesis, CPGs. This model can be tested using the accompanying file NeuronTest_PythonVer.py

Test file for the Izhikevich neuron model. This one creates a spiking train on the intervals tr[0] and tr[1] to stimulate the neuron.
